The device also has a quad-camera setup on the back, with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, and a 5,000mAh battery. It runs on the Android 10 operating system. It was launched in India as a budget-segment smartphone with good specs.
Without wasting any time let’s get into Micromax In Note 1 Review…
Micromax In Note 1 Review Price
The price was assumed little high when the phone was not launched. But the phone price is less than 15000.
There are 2 variations:
- 4+64GB: ₹10,990
- 4+128GB: ₹12,499
This pricing can only be seen on Flipkart. It has a 4.5-star rating on Flipkart which is very good.
IN Note 1 Display
- Punch Hole Display
- Display Size is 6.67 inch
- FHD+ IPS Infinity Display
- Adaptive 120Hz refresh rate
At this price point, the punch-hole display is unbelievable. As punch hole display phones are between 20k and 40k. The punch hole of IN Note 1 is present in the top middle.
The picture quality is very good as it has IPS Infinity Display.
IN Note 1 Audio
Some samples you can listen to:
The audio of the phone is great. A headphone jack is also given in the phone. Nowadays phone doesn’t have a headphone jack. But Micromax is giving you more.
Bluetooth 5.0 is present in Micromax Note 1 so that you can get better audio quality from Bluetooth devices(Wireless Speaker, Airdrops, etc.)
The speaker of the phone is at the back. Nowadays phone speaker provides great audio quality.
IN Note 1 Performance and specs
Although the performance of the Micromax In Note 1 is acceptable, there is some space for improvement. App loading is quick, and multitasking is not a problem. The fingerprint scanner was speedy, yet inconsistent, and occasionally required a second try. On the other hand, face recognition worked reliably under excellent situations. The speaker is powerful, and the LCD has good viewing angles.
On the In Note 1, I was able to play Call of Duty Mobile with Low graphics and a Medium frame rate. The game played well once I increased the graphics settings to Medium (the highest setting that was an option). After playing for 24 minutes, the smartphone becomes warm. Additionally, it showed a battery level decline of 8%, which is a little greater than average.
The Micromax In Note 1 completed our HD video loop test at 14 hours, and 30 minutes, which is a little less than typical. The In Note 1 lasted me for approximately a day and a half with my usage without any problems. A rapid 18W charger from Micromax is included, and it charges the phone quickly. It increased the In Note 1 to 35% in 30 minutes and 62% in an hour.
IN Note 1 Camera Quality
On the In Note 1, Micromax provides four back cameras, keeping up with current trends. Its four cameras each have a resolution of two megapixels: a 2-megapixel depth sensor; a 48-megapixel main camera; a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera; and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The camera app appears to be relatively simple, but it does offer a specific Night mode and a Pro mode that gives you complete control. There is also an HDR shooting setting, which is strange because on most phones HDR is enabled by default in bright environments. It’s a little strange that the camera app defaults to 48-megapixel photos. I restarted the camera app to see if the resolution would change to 12 megapixels, but it didn’t.
These are some photos clicked from Micromax IN Note 1 Camera:-
The Micromax In Note 1 offers a 16-megapixel camera for selfies. For the price, it was able to take decent shots in daylight, and the portrait mode did an excellent job of removing the backdrop. Selfies taken with the In Note 1 in low light also turned out excellent thanks to the screen flash.
